The Govna's Great Kitchen Disaster

Image
The Govna's Great Kitchen Disaster There are some jobs in life that should always be left to professionals. Plumbing. Electrics. Roofing. Brain surgery. And decorating a kitchen when you have absolutely no idea what you're doing. Unfortunately, nobody had told the Govna. It was a beautiful Saturday morning when the Govna wandered into his kitchen, looked around for approximately seven seconds and made an announcement that would change the lives of everyone in the Salty Gang. “Right. I've had enough.” From the sitting room came a voice. “Had enough of what?” “The kitchen.” There was silence. Then Salty appeared. “What about it?” “It's boring.” Salty looked around. The kitchen looked perfectly normal. The cupboards were fine. The cooker worked. The fridge was working. The kettle was slightly ancient but still capable of producing boiling water. “What are you planning?” The Govna puffed out his chest. “I'm redecorating it.” Salty immediately knew this was g...

🍻 THE GOVNA, DANNY BOY & THE FIRST-DATE DISASTER Stg. Salty and the Misfits — A Night Out in Dublin’s Fair City There are nights in Dublin that begin with a plan. Then there are nights involving Stg. Salty and the Misfits. Those nights don't have plans. They have incidents. And on this particular evening, the Govna and Danny Boy had decided they were going into Dublin for a concert. The music was supposed to be the main event. Oasis. Suede. The Manic Street Preachers. A glorious evening of guitars, nostalgia, questionable dancing and enough beer to make the average person's knees start negotiating with their brain. But nobody had accounted for the arrival of the Misfits. The Govna was already in Dublin when Danny Boy arrived. "Where are the lads?" Danny asked. The Govna looked at him. "Which lads?" "You know." "That's not an answer." "The Misfits." The Govna sighed. "They're probably already in a pub." D...

☕ “The Great Tea Envy Incident” — How One Man Crashed The Govna’s Perfectly Proper Tea Party 🫖 Ah yes… it was meant to be a fine, delicate afternoon — the kind you only read about in overly dramatic Victorian novels or see in the background of fancy period dramas where someone always looks like they’ve just smelled burnt toast. The sun was shining just right, the roses were in bloom, and The Govna , resplendent in his cream linen suit and questionable cravat, had laid out his legendary afternoon tea spread . Scones fluffed to the heavens. Cucumber sandwiches thinner than your willpower on a diet. And, of course, his prized Imperial Earl Grey — the kind of tea so posh it probably spoke three languages and wore a monocle. The guests were gathered. Ye Olde Large Lad was attempting to sit gracefully on a wicker chair that was clearly not designed for his “warrior build.” WhizzAir Winky was swirling sugar cubes into his tea like he was mixing a cocktail. And Sgt. Salty hims...
