Chapter 5 – Touchdown in America The jet landed smoothly on the glowing runway of JFK Airport as dawn broke over New York City. Dannyboy pressed his face against the window, eyes wide with excitement at the towering skyline. The Govna smirked, sipping his final whiskey. “Yeah, yeah, yeah… welcome to America, lad.” As they disembarked, the airport staff stood respectfully aside, knowing better than to question The Govna’s presence. Dannyboy stretched his arms out wide, breathing in the humid morning air. “I still can’t believe it,” he said, looking up at the tall buildings beyond the runway. “I’m really here.” The Govna placed a firm hand on his shoulder. “Remember why you’re here. Medicine is your path. But…” he winked slyly, “…pleasure is your gift. Don’t forget that.” They stepped into a waiting black limo, the city awakening around them.
