Govnas morning Beers
🍺 THE GOVNA'S MORNING BEER – A MAN WITH A PLAN!
A BigSaltyDog Special – Because Some Men Have Their Priorities Straight!
It was 10:30 on a rather ordinary Wednesday morning when the Govna decided that the day needed a little improvement.
While most sensible people were making coffee, checking emails or pretending to work, the Govna had other ideas.
He was sitting comfortably outside a rather charming little pub, wearing his trademark red tracksuit and Govna cap.
A pint of golden lager sat proudly in front of him.
"Ahhhh," he sighed. "Now that's what I call breakfast!"
The barman raised an eyebrow.
"Bit early, isn't it?"
The Govna looked at him over the rim of his glass.
"Early? My good man, it's practically lunchtime somewhere in Europe!"
And with that, he took another leisurely sip.
Unfortunately, peace was never going to last for long.
Within minutes, the Misfits began arriving.
Ye Olde Large Lad appeared first, wearing sunglasses and looking as though he'd just returned from a fortnight in southern Spain.
"Morning, Govna! I see you're keeping up the healthy lifestyle!"
"Absolutely," replied the Govna. "Hydration is important."
McFinleyyy and Quags arrived together, immediately arguing over who had discovered the pub first.
"Technically, I found it on Google Maps," announced McFinleyyy.
"Technically, I was already here," replied Quags.
Winkz wandered in, followed by Sarah and Susan, who looked absolutely fabulous and immediately brightened up the morning.
"Morning, Govna!" Sarah smiled.
"Morning, ladies! You're just in time. I've ordered another round."
Susan laughed. "You've only just started!"
"Exactly! I'm still warming up!"
Stg. Salty eventually arrived, newspaper tucked under his arm, looking suspiciously at the Govna's growing collection of empty glasses.
"Govna, have you actually achieved anything today?"
The Govna paused.
"Yes. I've successfully identified a pub, located a comfortable chair, established contact with the barman and secured refreshments."
Salty nodded slowly.
"Remarkable. Shall we nominate you for employee of the month?"
Dannyboy nearly choked laughing.
Meanwhile, Sarah and Susan were discussing their plans for the afternoon, while Ye Olde Large Lad was attempting to organise a summer holiday.
"Spain, definitely Spain," he announced. "Sunshine, swimming pools and cocktails."
"Who's paying?" asked Susan.
The Large Lad suddenly became very interested in the beer menu.
Senior Salty and Senior Miguel arrived just in time to hear the conversation.
"Back in our day," Senior Salty declared, "a morning beer was a rare occasion!"
The Govna looked genuinely puzzled.
"Well, times have changed, Senior. We're living in modern times!"
The barman eventually approached with the bill.
The Govna examined it carefully.
"Hang on a minute. What's this extra charge?"
"That's your breakfast, sir."
"Breakfast? I haven't ordered breakfast!"
"Four pints and a packet of crisps, sir."
The entire table erupted.
Stg. Salty folded his newspaper.
"Right, Govna. Time to take out the trash. And by trash, I mean your excuses!"
The Govna stood, straightened his tracksuit and adjusted his cap.
"Listen, gentlemen. A successful morning is all about planning, preparation and knowing when to leave."
He marched towards the door.
"Where are you going?" asked McFinleyyy.
The Govna turned around.
"Home. I've got a busy afternoon."
"What are you doing?"
The Govna smiled.
"Having a little nap. Big day tomorrow!"
And with that, he disappeared into the morning sunshine.
THE MORAL OF THE STORY?
Some people chase success, some chase happiness, and the Govna?
He's just chasing the next happy hour.
