The Salty Spain Special — Chapter 8

πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ The Salty Spain Special — Chapter 8

🚀 Eddie Irvine's Marina Mystery

The newly formed Salty-Patel Alliance was officially underway.

The destination?

The Marina.

The reason?

Another mysterious clue.

The gang made their way towards the waterfront, still wearing their ridiculous Hawaiian shirts.

Salty's shirt was so loud that one passing tourist actually put on sunglasses.

Dinkz looked at Large Lad.

“You know, I think yours is even worse.”

Large Lad looked down proudly.

“IT'S MAGNIFICENT.”

Captain Morgan shook his head.

“Let's concentrate on the treasure.”

They reached the marina.

Beautiful boats were lined up along the water, gently bobbing in the sunshine.

Vicky looked around.

“It's lovely here.”

Sarah nodded.

“Very fancy.”

Then Patel stopped.

“That's the boat.”

Everyone followed his gaze.

At the far end of the marina sat a rather impressive boat.

McFinleyyy checked the map.

“That matches the symbol.”

Salty looked at the name painted on the side.

IRVINE.

John Daniels stared.

“Wait a minute…”

Captain Morgan nodded.

“Eddie Irvine.”

🚀 The Marina Clue

Apparently, former Formula One driver Eddie Irvine had a boat at the marina.

And according to the latest clue, something important was hidden somewhere nearby.

Salty studied the map.

“There must be another clue here.”

Everyone spread out.

Dinkz searched around the benches.

McFinleyyy inspected a sign.

Captain Morgan examined the marina map.

Large Lad searched for a restaurant.

Sarah and Vicky checked the harbour wall.

Susan, meanwhile, had spotted someone approaching the boat.

She looked at the others.

“I'll ask him nicely.”

Sarah smiled.

“Nicely?”

Susan gave her a mischievous little grin.

“You know what I mean…”

She winked.

πŸ˜‰

Sarah burst out laughing.

Salty turned around.

“What are you two plotting?”

“Nothing,” said Susan innocently.

“That sounded like something.”

Susan smiled.

“I'm just going to have a chat.”

😎 Susan Meets Eddie

Susan walked towards the boat.

Eddie Irvine looked up.

Susan smiled politely.

“Excuse me, Eddie?”

He looked over.

“Yes?”

Susan explained that they were on a treasure hunt and had discovered a clue pointing towards his boat.

Eddie looked amused.

“A treasure hunt?”

Susan nodded.

“A very serious one.”

Behind her, Salty shouted:

“EXTREMELY SERIOUS!”

Eddie looked past Susan at the group.

He saw the Hawaiian shirts.

He saw Large Lad.

He saw McFinleyyy clutching the remaining chips.

He saw Captain Morgan studying a map.

Then he looked back at Susan.

“I see.”

Susan smiled.

“We were wondering if you might know anything about this.”

She showed him the map.

Eddie studied it.

His expression changed.

“That symbol…”

Everyone moved closer.

“What?” asked Salty.

Eddie pointed towards the harbour wall.

“That was painted there years ago.”

Captain Morgan immediately grabbed the map.

“Where?”

Eddie pointed.

“Over there.”

πŸ—Ί️ Another Clue!

The entire gang rushed towards the wall.

Large Lad nearly knocked over a deckchair.

“MAKE WAY!”

McFinleyyy shouted:

“WATCH THE CHIPS!”

They reached the wall.

There, partly hidden behind an old metal sign, was a tiny carved symbol.

A compass.

And underneath it were three letters:

M.G.S.

Salty stared.

“What does that mean?”

Nobody knew.

Patel looked at the map.

“There must be another message.”

Vicky pointed underneath the compass.

“Look!”

There was a tiny line of writing.

Captain Morgan brushed away some dirt.

The words became visible.

“Where the racers rest, the sea will reveal the way.”

Everyone looked at Eddie's boat.

Then at the marina.

Then at each other.

John Daniels smiled.

“Racers…”

Salty nodded.

“Eddie Irvine.”

Patel looked towards the boats.

“And the sea…”

Susan smiled.

“I think we're getting close.”

Large Lad raised his hand.

“CAN WE GET ON THE BOAT?”

Eddie laughed.

“Not so fast.”

Large Lad looked disappointed.

“WHY?”

“Because you haven't found the treasure yet.”

Large Lad looked at Salty.

“HE'S GOT A POINT.”

Salty nodded.

“Right, team. We've got our next destination.”

Captain Morgan pointed towards the water.

“The clue says the sea will reveal the way.”

Dinkz smiled.

“So we're going out on the water?”

Salty grinned.

“Looks like it.”

Everyone cheered.

Except McFinleyyy.

He looked down at his chips.

“How am I supposed to protect these on a boat?”

Everyone stared at him.

Salty shook his head.

“McFinleyyy…”

“Yes?”

“Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for the mission.”

McFinleyyy hugged the bowl.

“Not the chips.”

The gang burst out laughing.

The treasure hunt had taken another unexpected turn.

They now had an alliance with Patel.

They had a clue connected to Eddie Irvine.

They had a mysterious inscription at the marina.

And their next destination appeared to be…

the open sea.

As the sun began to drop towards the horizon, Salty looked out across the water.

Somewhere beyond the marina was the next clue.

And perhaps…

the treasure itself.
