Chapter 6 – The Midnight Mischief
Chapter 6 – The Midnight Mischief
The party had been wild enough already — ghostly shadows danced across the walls, the DJ had just spun another spooky remix, and Stg. Salty’s grin stretched wider than the moonlit sky. But nothing could prepare him for what was about to unfold at midnight.
Busty Sarah — the blonde bombshell with a wicked wink — and Busty Susan — the brunette with eyes that could melt steel — had decided that the night needed… a little extra sizzle.
“Salty,” Sarah purred as she leaned closer, the faint scent of candy apple perfume drifting in the air. “You’ve been the life of the party…”
Susan twirled her dark curls, sliding a playful finger across the fake captain’s badge on his pilot’s costume. “But we think you deserve… a reward.”
Salty raised an eyebrow. “Ladies, what exactly do you have in mind? Another dance-off? A haunted tank ride?”
The two exchanged a devilish look. “Oh… something more personal,” Sarah teased, her voice soft like silk.
Before Salty could answer, they grabbed his hands, pulling him through the crowd of vampires, mummies, and very confused zombies. A few of the other misfits cheered and whistled as the trio disappeared toward the dimly lit pumpkin lounge — a corner decorated with flickering lanterns, fake cobwebs, and suspiciously well-stocked punch bowls.
Inside, the music softened. The jack-o’-lanterns cast a warm orange glow that danced across their faces. Susan leaned against him, playfully bumping her shoulder against his. Sarah tugged at the little wing badge that read “Jars Yogan”, giving it a mock salute.
“Well, Captain,” she whispered with a wink, “care to fly us to trouble?”
Salty chuckled, adjusting his cap like a man on a mission. “Fasten your seatbelts, ladies. It’s gonna be a bumpy flight.”
The three clinked their cups of neon-green punch, laughter echoing through the lounge as the rest of the party carried on outside.
This Halloween was no ordinary night — it was a night where ghosts flirted, pumpkins glowed brighter than the moon, and Stg. Salty realized that sometimes, the scariest thing… was how fast your heart could race.
