π Post 5: The Salty Dozen – Ladies Who Left a Mark (Or Lipstick on My Collar)
They came from different cities, spoke different languages, wore different perfumes… but they all had one thing in common — they made Salty’s heart skip, hips sway, and shirts mysteriously disappear.
This one’s for the twelve women who left a trail of chaos, kisses, and missed flights in their wake. I call them… The Salty Dozen.
1. Fiona – The Blonde Bombshell from Bray
Met her on the DART. She dropped her phone, I picked it up, and she winked like we’d already dated. Fiona had legs for days, a laugh that echoed, and a dangerous obsession with tequila.
We lost each other at sunrise, but I still have the taste of her cherry lip balm stored in my neurons.
2. Aoife – The Gym Goddess
Personal trainer. Irish curves. Killer squats. She made me do burpees as foreplay.
We never actually worked out… but I did need a recovery shake the next morning.
3. Isabella – The Brunette from Barcelona
Met her while ordering churros. She told me I looked “like trouble.” I replied, “You look like I’d follow you into it.”
We did. We got kicked out of a rooftop bar. Worth it.
4. Sofia – The Blonde Like Buffy
Hair like honey. Moves like a dream. We had a four-minute dance-off that ended in a slow grind so intense, someone clapped.
I still get hot hearing reggaeton.
5. GrΓ‘inne – The Vampire Show Obsession
She said I looked like “that guy from that vampire show.” I told her she looked like every reason I’ve ever missed a train.
She bit my neck (gently), and we ended the night howling at the moon. Not even joking.
6. Ciara – The Wicklow Wildflower
Curvy, clever, and absolute chaos in a good way.
We got caught in the rain, made out in a field, and she whispered, “You kiss like you’re hiding secrets.”
She wasn’t wrong.
7. Maeve – The Kitchen Queen
She cooked. I watched. She fed me like a king and then devoured me like dessert.
Belly stuffed, cheeks flushed — and not just from the food.
8. Aisling – The Rock Chick
Met at a pub gig. She played bass, drank Guinness, and called me “a softie with abs.”
We danced, we snogged, she left in a taxi and texted me “thanks for the giggle.”
Still waiting for the sequel.
9. Deirdre – The Late-Night Philosopher
We talked about the universe while sharing chips in Temple Bar.
She kissed me mid-sentence and said, “Sometimes, you don’t need answers. Just lips.”
10. Liv – The Swedish Surprise
We shared a hostel bunk… and a bottle of vodka.
She taught me Swedish words I still can’t pronounce, but I remember every curve and every giggle.
11. Niamh – The Dublin Diva
Fake tan, lashes, and banter for days.
She told me, “I’m not like other girls.” I said, “Good — I don’t need twelve of you. Just this night.”
She made me laugh and blush. Dangerous combo.
12. Ellie – The One I Didn’t Forget
Maybe the one that got away. Maybe the one I never wanted to keep.
Either way, she said, “You’ll write about me someday.”
Ellie, this is your paragraph. You were fire, fury, and magic.
π What They All Had in Common:
-
Laughter that could level a building
-
Hips that had their own postcode
-
Eyes that said “you’re not ready”
-
And kisses I still feel when I hear the right song
𧳠Final Thoughts from Salty HQ
To all the women who walked into my life — some for a night, some for a weekend, and a few who left longer shadows — thank you.
You left lipstick on my collar, bite marks on my shoulder, and cheeky memories in my diary.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s just a blog post. π
